The town of Encamp is found at one end of the Grandvalira ski area, very close to the capital of Andorra, Andorra la Vella. It is also the parish town of the Comú (parish) of Encamp, so it has lots of amenities including several banks, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and it maintains a local atmosphere rather than being a tourist resort.
For those of you taking the shared AndBus airport transfers, if you are coming from either Barcelona or Girona then the bus will stop at the main bus station in Andorra la Vella where you may need to change, or if you are arriving from Toulouse the bus will drop people off along the way through Pas de la Casa and Soldeu. There are seven services daily from Barcelona, then from Toulouse there are three services daily.
If you prefer a private airport transfer we can organise that for you from any of the airports around Andorra including the ones above as well as Girona, Lleida, Reus and Carcassonne.
For transfers from Toulouse to Encamp the journey is around 3 to 3½ hours, or to either Barcelona or Girona it’s around ½ an hour longer. You should also allow time for checking in as well as extra time if the weather and road conditions are poort if you are travelling in winter.
